Paper overview
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming healthcare by revolutionizing patient care through enhanced diagnostics, real-time examinations, and preventive as well as actual treatments. IoT in healthcare involves smart devices equipped with sensors that accurately collect data for further analysis and action. These devices leverage realtime data to enable monitoring, tracking, and management, thereby improving healthcare outcomes. The efficiency of IoT leads to better decision-making and reduces the risk of errors. Additionally, IoT can be used to prevent machine failures, improving the reliability and quality of patient supply chain responsiveness. This paper provides a comparative survey of IoT applications in the healthcare system.
