Manufacturing Method and Evaluation Analysis for the Practice of Standard Products

In the Polytechnic University of Japan, the practice for the standard production system is carried out. It incorporates three methods: the learning-practice connecting method, the project-based learning method and the working group learning method. The practice for the standard production system employs actual processes for product development in a company and we produced a data logger system including wireless communication. The design and production practice is carried out in 144 hours. We address two questionnaires to the students at the middle and the end of the practice. Based on the questionnaires, we evaluated the student answers for the practice.
