CareerCraft: Crafting Your Future, One Code at a Time

The world of placements is getting closer to the students these days, and meeting the rising demands for required talent remains a challenge in this area. CareerCraft is an AI-driven platform designed to bridge the gap between students and the career expectations set by employers. CareerCraft provides a personalized experience through integrated tools, including allowing students to upload their CVs for automatic skill extraction, the Chat-with-PDF feature, an AI interviewer that simulates real interview scenarios, and a roadmap generator for individually tailored study paths. Additional features like a personalized dashboard, customized calendar, job openings, blog resources, and mentor assignments are the icing on top. This paper describes the platform's design and functionality, along with results from a pilot study, demonstrating that CareerCraft can simplify the placement preparation process, align students’ skills with desired roles throughout their education, and provide a holistic, learner-centric environment. CareerCraft’s goal is to empower students with confidence as they navigate their placement journey by integrating AI and personalization under one roof. [1]
