Kobe City College of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering was starting the new curriculum from 2017. In the new curriculum, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) exercise was start for the fifth grade students at 2021 because of necessary skill for mechanical engineer. In this study, we attempt to establish a sustainable CAE education environment by adopting open source 3D modeler software, FEM software, computer monitoring and classroom management software, and CFD software for CAE classes. In addition, the adoption of these open source software was easily applied to online classes. On the other hand, open source software have no organized tutorial, which is prepared for commercial software. Therefore, we also wrote the original textbook.
